Huawei has launched the Y100, their new entry-level Android smartphone in India in partnership with Spice, hence it called S Huawei Y100. It has a 2.8-inch (320 × 240 pixels) TFT Capacitave touch screen display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by a 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has a 3.2MP fixed-focus camera at the back. The Huawei Ascend Y100 was announced back in May for select countries. Samsung was the first handset maker to announce a Windows Phone 8 device, the ATIV S. They showed it off in Berlin in late August. Nokia was next in line a week later in New York with the Lumia 820 and Lumia 920. Then there was HTC with the 8X and 8S, again in New York. Now it’s Huawei’s turn. According to ITProPortal, the Chinese handset maker is going to hold an event on the 25th of this month, probably in China, though that hasn’t been confirmed yet, to announce the W1 and the W2. The latter is set to be the higher end device that will allegedly rival the Nokia Lumia 920, whereas the former is a “midrange” device. Today’s announcement by EE on the arrival of 4G LTE in the UK heralds a new era in this Britain’s telecommunication industry. It’s been a long time waiting, and judging by the initial hands on demonstration, it seems that it will be worth the wait.
Huawei’s Ascend P1 and the Samsung Galaxy S3 were two of the few handsets on display at the EE press conference today. Initial speed test shows that the devices were capable of achieving and maintaining 25+Mbps download and 12+Mbps upload speed, a fair upgrade over T-Mobile’s current 3G network.
No price plans has been announced yet. The rollout of EE’s 4G LTE network will begin this year and they aim to cover 1/3rd of the population by the end of the year.

Huwawei has announced the Ascend G600, successor of the Ascend G300 at IFA 2012. It has a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and comes with a 1930 mAh battery that has Huawei’s power saving technology that provides more than 15 days of standby time. It has 8MP Auto focus camera at the back with BIS sensor and LED Flash and a front-facing camera. Huawei has announced MediaPad 7 Lite, their new tablet in the MediaPad lineup. It has metal uni-body design and comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS mult-touch display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and comes with a 3.2 MP rear camera, 0.3MP front-facing camera. Huawei has launched E355 3G Data Card in India. It is the World’s 1st Data Card with Wi-Fi for 5 at the same time. It functions both as a data card for a single user and as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, which can simultaneously connect up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Huawei launched the E303Cs HiLink data Card in July that automatically connects users to the Internet in less than 15 seconds. T-Mobile has announced that their new budget-friendly Android phone Prism from Huawei that would go on sale starting May 6. It has 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 3.2-megapixel camera, microSD slot for up to 32GB.
