HTC today announced a variant of the HTV31 waterproof smartphone as Butterfly 3, as expected. As we already know, it has a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 SoC, has a 20-megapixel rear camera, secondary rear camera for depth information and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC J Butterfly HTV31 announced in Japan, likely to be HTC Butterfly 3 Internationally

HTC in partnership with Japanese operator KDDI has announced a new smartphone in its butterfly series dubbed the HTC J Butterfly HTV31. The smartphone is reportedly scheduled to release in early June in Japan, and speculated to get renamed as the HTC Butterfly 3 Internationally.
