HTC partnered with Google to launch the Nexus 9 tablet last year, but it’s been years HTC launched its own tablet. HTC Flyer was launched in India back in 2011. Recently a mysterious tablet codenamed HTC H7 has been spotted in Indian import/export database Zauba (via) for testing. According to the listing, the tablet has a 7-inch display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The tablet will also come with dual SIM support, hence it will have voice calling capabilities. The listing shows the imported price per unit as Rs. 9,565. This might not be the final price since the tablets are only for testing, and not for retail purpose.
According to @upleaks, the HTC H7 will run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and is expected to feature new Sense 7.0 UI for Tablet. The H7#F WiFi only variant will release in Asia countries, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and India. The H7#DUG Dual SIM variant will come only with 3G support. It says that HTC doesn’t have plans to release it in the US and EMEA market.
The HTC H7 will come in Modern Black, Delicate Rose and Airy Blue colors when it launches Currently there are no details about the release date.
