Rumour – 24 million iPhone HD units to be shipped by Foxconn

According to Digitimes Research , close to 24 million iPhone 4G / HD units are going to be shipped by Foxconn this year. The company is known to manufacture iPhones and other Apple products. Last year an employee of the company committed suicide after losing an iPhone prototype. Foxconn is expected to ship 4.5 million units initially and 19.5 million units later . HTC sues Apple over patents , wants to ban import of iPad, iPhone and iPod into USA

HTC just fired back at Apple’s earlier lawsuit by suing Apple over infringement of  5 HTC patents and the phone maker has filed a complaint with the ITC to ban import of iPad, iPhone and iPod into USA. Interesting turn of events we should say . Now both Nokia and HTC are asking the ITC to ban import of Apple products into America.

iPhone 4G Leaked in Vietnam

One more iPhone 4G prototype has shown up now in Vietnam and it looks exactly same as the one ripped apart by Gizmodo last month.  This looks like the final hardware of the iPhone 4G and the phone is running some basic software for testing and not iPhone 4.0 OS. Nokia sues Apple again over iPad 3G

Nokia is again suing iPhone maker Apple in Wisconsin, USA over alleged patent violations in Apple products such as iPhone and iPad 3G.

iPad officially starts selling in 9 more countries , Pricing Revealed

Apple just announced that after a successful start in USA, the iPad is now going on sale in 9 more countries Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK from May 28. Users in these countries can pre-order the device online starting from May 10.
