Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 display, dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 gets certified

Xiaomi Xiaomi M1805D1SC, M1805D1SE, and M1805D1ST got certified by TENAA in China last week. Now the phone has been certified by the FCC with the model number M1805D1SG , which reveals the dimensions of the phone that coincides with the TENAA certification, and the certification by Singapore’s Communications Authority with the same model number reveals that the phone will released as Mi A2 Lite, so there are chances that the we might see recently-introduced Mi 6X as Mi A2. MIUI 10 New Features and First look on Redmi Note 5 Pro

Xiaomi announced 10th iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI along with Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi Band 3 on 31st May in China. Xiaomi is aiming to roll out MIUI 10 Beta ROM in couple of months to MIUI China ROM users and it has already started closed beta testing for the same. Links for these closed beta ROM has been leaked for Mi 5, Mi 6, Mi Mix 2 and Redmi Note 5 (which is called Redmi Note 5 Pro in India) and we installed it on our Redmi Note 5 Pro to check out all new MIUI 10. MIUI 10 Global roll out expected to be announced in India on June 7

Last year at the Redmi Y1 launch event Xiaomi announced roll out details of MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM  for its phones. The company introduced MIUI 10 at its Mi 8 launch event yesterday in China, and also said that beta from will roll out in China starting later this month. Now Xiaomi India has shared a video for MIUI 10 and also says that it is coming soon, so it might reveal global ROM roll out details at the Redmi Y2 event on June 7th. Update:  Amazon has started promoting a selfie-focused Redmi device that we believe will be the new Redmi Y2. A recent benchmark leak already confirmed the name, 3GB RAM and Android 8.1 for the smartphone.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 75-inch 4K HDR TV with slim metal frame announced

Xiaomi today at the Mi 8 event, also introduced the 75-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 4, a 4K HDR TV with a 11.4mm slim metal body with aluminum alloy frame, and it is also Xiaomi’s largest LED TV to date. The company introduced  49-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch Mi TV 4 models last year. It has Xiao Ai voice assistant for content discovery, and patchwall UI based on Android. Xiaomi Mi Band 3 with 0.78-inch OLED display, 50-meter water resistance announced

Xiaomi has finally announced the most expected Mi Band 3 at the Mi 8 event in China, as it had promised. It has a 0.78-inch OLED display, compared to 0.42-inch in the Mi Band 2 so that it can display more characters including WhatsApp, Facebook or SMS messages, Weather info, caller ID and more. It also 5ATM water proof so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters.

Xiaomi Mi 8 SE with 5.88-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 710, 6GB RAM, AI dual rear cameras announced

Xiaomi just announced Mi 8 SE along with the Mi 8 and the Mi 8 Explorer Edition at an event in China. It comes with a 5.88-inch FHD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with a notch 86.12% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by the latest Snapdragon 710 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9, has a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera to capture depth information for portrait shots with AI and also has intelligent scene detection. It also has the same 20-megapixel front camera with AI portraits and AI beautification and uses pixel binning technology, combining the information from four pixels to create one large 2.0µm pixel.

Xiaomi just announced its flagship Mi 8 smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.21-inch FHD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with a notch and 88.5% screen-to-body ratio. It has a glass back with an  unique water drop arc design, four curved glass body with 7 series aluminum frame. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 with up to 8GB of RAM  and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI on top. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4µm pixel size, OIS, Dual Pixel auto focus and a secondary 12-megapixel rear camera for AI portraits  has AI scene recognition.

Xiaomi is all set to introduce its flagship Mi 8 smartphone, MIUI 10 and Mi Band 3 tomorrow at an event in China. We had already seen some images of the Mi 8, its retail box, and the company has already confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC. Now the press shots of the Mi 8 and the Mi 8 SE (Special Edition) has surfaced that shows a notch on both the phones. The Mi 8 SE is rumored to come with a slightly smaller display and powered by the latest Snapdragon 710 SoC.
