Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5A smartphone recently. We already brought you the review of the phone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. After 55-inch 4K and 43-inch Full HD TVs in the Mi TV 4C series, Xiaomi has introduced new 50-inch 4K HDR TV in the TV 4C line-up in China. Other than the screen size, most of the specs are similar to the 55-inch model, including PatchWall, a UI layer on top of the Android OS that’s based on deep learning AI technology that can curate content based on recommendations, Dolby and DTS Audio and Mi Remote Control with gesture controls and Speech Recognition for voice control. Xiaomi was one of the manufacturers which opted for capacitive navigation keys in favor to utilize maximum screen for display, but with 18:9 devices Xiaomi had to ditch the physical keys for on-screen navigation keys as devices with new aspect ratio have minimal bezels at front. A couple of weeks ago Xiaomi integrated content from streaming apps like Hungama Play, Youtube, Hotstar, Amazon Prime Videos into its Mi Video app. Content from Hungama is displayed on the homepage of Mi Video app as Xiaomi had made an investment of $25 Million back in 2016. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5 smartphone in India earlier this month. We recently brought you the unboxing and first impressions of the smartphone, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The Redmi 5 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with 5-element lens, f/2.2 aperture and large 1.25μm pixel size, same as the Redmi Note 5, but it has a single LED flash compared to dual-tone LED flash.
