Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 9.0 Pie stable update starts rolling out, brings Dual 4G VoLTE, FM Radio and more [Download Link]

Update – December 25,2018: Xiaomi has started rolling out Mi A1 Android 9.0 (Pie) stable update for more users widely, including users in India. It has build number PKQ1.180917.001.V10.0.3.0.PDHMIFK, compared to v10.0.2.0 that rolled out earlier this month and is 1069.1MB in size, slightly smaller than the 1074.9MB. It brings December Android security patch. If you haven’t received the update, you can download it from here (or here) and flash it manually. If you have already reveived or flashed v10.0.2.0 update, you will receive a small update to 10.0.3.0 probably to fix bugs.

Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 8.1 update resumes with July 2018 Android security patch, SMS issue fix

Xiaomi Mi A1 finally got stable Android 8.1 (Oreo) update for last month, but it was pulled quickly after users started complaining about the SMS bug that wipes entire SMS history after updating. After testing a beta ROM earlier this month, Xiaomi today has started rolling out a new update for the Mi A1 A1 userse to fix the issue. Xiaomi Mi A1 gets a permanent price cut in India, now available for Rs. 13999

Xiaomi launched the Mi A1, the company’s first Android One smartphone with dual rear cameras in India back in September for Rs. 14,999. Last week it announced a temporary Rs. 2000 price cut for the phone on Flipkart during its Big Shopping Days sale between December 5th and 7th as well as Mi.com. Now it has announced a permanent Rs. 1000 price cut for the phone, so the phone is now available across retailers for Rs. 13,999. Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One

Xiaomi today launched Mi A1, the company’s latest smartphone in the new ‘A series’ at a global event in New Delhi, as it had promised. It is the global variant of the Mi 5X that was introduced in China back in July, but this is an Android One phone created in partnership with Google running stock Android based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) and it will get Android 8.0 (Oreo) by 2017. It will also be one of the first phones to get Android P. Xiaomi said that Mi Camera, Mi Remote and Mi Store apps will be pre-installed.
