Samsung Galaxy Note shipments surpass 5 million



Samsung has announced they have shipped over 5 million units of the Galaxy Note globally since the launch in October last year. They crossed 1 million units last December. They achieved this feat in just 5 months after the launch.

The Galaxy Note sales is going strong in Korea last month since it’s launch in November last year and it has 67 percent market share in China. The shipments are strong in the European countries such as France and Spain.

Samsung launched White version of the Galaxy Note in South Korea in December. They launched Galaxy Note LTE for AT&T in the US this January as they announced earlier, and also plans to launch Galaxy Note LTE in Japan on NTT DoCoMo next month.

The Galaxy Note will get Premium Suite upgrade along with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), extra multimedia features and a range of new S Pen optimized applications in Q2 2012.
