Jim Jannard, founder of RED Digital Cinema Camera Company and Oakley, Inc. has announced that he will be retiring from his 45-year long career due to health issues. Along with his career, he is also retiring the Hydrogen Project which was RED attempt at creating a flagship smartphone camera, which proved to be unsuccessful.

RED HYDROGEN ONE smartphone with Holographic display coming to AT&T and Verizon in August

RED, popular for its high-end cameras back in July last year had introduced the RED HYDROGEN ONE. Though the initial launch date was Q1 2018, after delaying it for a while, the phone is finally coming to AT&T and Verizon in the USA and Telcel in Mexico in August. Pre-orders will ship about a month before the official launch date.

Apple iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus said to come with A11 chip, red color option

It looks like Apple iPhones 2017 are going to dazzle in a new color next year. The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus are expected to come in a new bright red color variant, according to latest report from Japanese blog Mac Otakara. The next generation iPhones will still retain the existing Black, Jet Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold options, added the report. Red Google Nexus 5 leaks again in a press image

Not long ago, we saw that the UK retail box of the red Google Nexus 5 leaked out. It was an interesting colour choice for the popular smartphone, which released with only two colours – Black or White, back in October. We had compared the two colours and found that the material used for them are vastly different with each providing a different level of build quality and handling. Now, we have a new red coloured version which looks like the real deal, as the press image leaked by evleaks showcases it in bleeding red. Riding the colour wave started by Nokia with its Lumia series of devices, the Nexus 5 in red might be really tempting for people who are still holding back on the purchase because of the lack of colour choices.

Samsung Galaxy SIII in Garnet Red now available in stores in India.

At IFA2012 Samsung Mobile announced four more colours for Samsung Galaxy SIII, mainly Garnet Red, Sapphire Black, Amber Brown and Titanium Gray. Samsung Mobile India has launched Garnet Red version of Galaxy SIII (16GB) in India on Samsung e-store. It is now also available in Samsung premium and flagship stores as well local stores in India. The MRP of Garnet Red SIII is same as other 16GB variants which is Rs.42,500 and it’s retail price is around Rs. 37,500. Similar to blue and white, this variant has its packaging in Red. Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S3 for AT&T – Official Photos

AT&T has announced the pre-order for the Garnet Red variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is exclusive to AT&T. Customers can pre-order this device through the operators website and in the company’s retail stores starting from July 15. In-store availability is set for July 29th.  We have already seen the White Galaxy S3 and the Pebble Blue S3 and this is the first glimpse at the red one. There a couple of photos after the jump.

AT&T Inspire 4G coming in red color, next week at RadioShack?

AT&T recently launched HTC Inspire 4G, which is their first ever 4G device from HTC and it’s currently available for purchase.
