Unwired View reports that the next generation iPhone might be packing in dual mode GSM + CDMA capabilities. App usage logs for a high profile iOS developer indicate two different sets of MCC (Mobile Country Code) and MNC (Mobile Network Code) codes from the same device. The codes correspond to AT&T and Verizon.
Rumors are rife that Apple might be about to launch a cheaper 8GB version of the very popular iPhone 4. This model might be launched alongside the much awaited iPhone 5 to cater to the demands for a low end iPhone.

The rumours of the Apple iPhone 5 have been going on for months and they’re still going strong. We have already seen numerous leaks of parts related to the iPhone 5.
A prototype of the rumored HTC Holiday has shown up on Craigslist. The phone running on Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 has been seen with a 1.2Ghz Dual Core CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. A forum goer over at XDA spotted the device , got hold of it and shared the images on the forum. The 4.5″ screen on the HTC Holiday has a qHD (960 x 540) resolution.

Micromax A70 is a entry level Android Phone from handset maker Micromax who is well known primarily for its Dual SIM devices. The company had a big advert today in a leading newspaper Times of India pictured above which pokes fun at the iPhone and at the same time conveys the message to the prospective buyer. No one can deny the fact that the iPhone has become the benchmark for any Touchscreen phone. But the iPhone still remains expensive with the cheapest offering available only at Rs.19,990 and Micromax seems to be cashing in on that.

A forum poster over at MacRumors has just posted an image of what appears to be the upcoming iPhone 5. The device appears to have returned to the curved design paradigm of the previous generations. The phone looks extremely thin and appears to coincide with the rumors that the device will clock in at just 7mm thickness.
There is a lot of discussion going on regarding the release date of the Apple iPhone 5- ie whether it is September or October. So here’s something about the design for a change. The phone in the picture above isn’t the real Apple iPhone 5.
