WhatsApp is rolling out a bunch of new features to groups including Group description, new Admin controls, Group catch up, and Participant search. WhatsApp rolled out group description back in March, and now for every new participant who joins the group; the description will show up at the top of the chat.

Coolpad has announced that its unit has filed lawsuits against three group firms of Xiaomi for several patent Infringements. The company’s subsidiary, Yulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific (Shenzhen) Co. Limited has filed a lawsuit against Xiaomi Telecom Technology Co, Xiaomi Technology Co, and Xiaomi Factory Co, in a court in Jiangsu province for using its patents without authorization.
According to IDC, Indian smartphone shipments reached 30 million units in Q1 2018 and has seen a healthy 11% YoY growth, but it remained flat when compared to the previous quarter; Q4 2017. As expected Xiaomi retained the top position for the second quarter in a row.
