PUBG Mobile 0.9.5 update with Royale Pass Season 4, M762 automatic rifle, dynamic weather in Sanhok and more released

PUBG Mobile surpasses 100 million downloads in 5 months of launch

Tencent had launched the PUBG Mobile game for Android and iOS back in March and it has surpassed 100 million downloads in about 5 months since its debut on smartphones and tablets. However, PUBG’s counterpart, the Fortnite had surpassed the milestone on iOS alone in late July, according to data-tracking service Apptopia. PUBG mobile beta version for Android released on the Play Store

PUBG is consistently releasing a fresh new update since it launched back in March. In May it rolled out the much talked 0.5.0 update and in June it released the 0.6.0 which is currently the stable release. Though it tests the upcoming stable release before it rolls out, the beta of the game is not so easy to find for everyone who might be interested. PUBG developer drops lawsuit against Fortnite

Back in May, PUBG developer sued Epic Games’ Fortnite over copyright infringement in Korea. This marks the end of a legal battle between two of the world’s hottest games. PUBG has sent a letter of withdrawal to Epic Games Inc.’s attorneys on Monday, and the case has since been closed, according to the website of the local court system. PUBG developer sues Epic Games’ Fortnite over copyright infringement in Korea

Korean game developer PUBG Corporation, which is also a subsidiary of Bluehole has announced that it is suing US-based Epic Games’ ‘Fortnite’ over copyright infringement in Korea. It also asked the court to determine whether Fortnite copied from the former’s “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.” It filed an injunction with the Seoul Central District Court against Epic Games Korea.
