Lenovo has launched the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in India, an AI-powered tablet built for productivity, creativity, and entertainment.
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a slim profile of 6.2mm and weighs 598g. It comes with a 13-inch 3.5K PureSight Pro display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 800 nits peak brightness, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, along with microSD support up to 2TB. The device is equipped with a 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Audio is handled by a quad-speaker system tuned by JBL with Dolby Atmos support. The camera setup includes a 13MP rear autofocus camera and an 8MP front camera for video calls and basic photography. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be and Bluetooth 6.0 for connectivity.
AI features and software experience
The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 introduces Lenovo Qira. Key AI tools include:
- Smarter Reader & Lenovo AI Notes: Works with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus to select text, generate summaries, and create explanations, saved in Lenovo Notepad for organization
- Live Transcription: Converts spoken lectures and conversations into real-time text for review
- Lenovo Smart AI Input: Activated via a dedicated Smart Key on the keyboard, enabling text generation and translation using natural language prompts
The tablet also includes AI Creation Tools, Google Gemini support, Circle to Search, and real-time translation. It runs on Android 16, with support for OS upgrades up to Android 18 and 4 years of security updates until 2030.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is priced at Rs. 39,999 in India and will be available from May 1, 2026, via Lenovo.com, major e-commerce platforms, and offline retail stores.
