N97 aside, the N85 is one of the most recent Nseries devices offering a range of features and combining the best of Nokia into one handset. Many people are calling it the N95 successor, or the better N95 as it takes the flagship’s dual slide design but adds a lot more to it in terms of battery, RAM, internal memory and hardware features. The N85 is a slider device. The main unit packs a 2.6″ screen with an accelerometer that rotates the display to landscape when needed. On top of it is the speakerphone with the front camera and the light sensor. Below it are the d-pad which also functions as a Navi-Wheel, the multimedia key and the red and green call keys. Nokia is doing a multi-city launch for the Nokia N97. After it was launched in Delhi, now it has been launched in Kolkata by Bollywood Actor Rahul Bose. The exact price of the phone has not been revealed even now . But when we contacted a Nokia Concept Store in Chennai, they hinted at a price of Rs.36,000 approx. In order to justify this price and also make it lighter on consumer pockets , Nokia is going to offer EMI options to N97 customers and has tied up with HDFC and Citibank to provide a 3 month EMI option at 0 % interest in select cities.
