Sony has officially announced that they are investigating future Android OS upgrades for all devices including 2011 Xperia smartphones. John Cooper, Product Manager of Sony UK who attended an online Q&A session on Facebook last week said that XPERIA Arc S and the XPERIA mini Pro would not be upgraded to Jelly Bean. Range of slides with the details about Sony Xperia Tablet has surfaced on XDA developers forum. According to the source who claims to working for Sony, this first tablet under Xperia brand and would come with aluminium splash-proof body, 9.4-inch (1280 x 800) display similar to the Tablet S but would be powered by Tegra 3 quad-core CPU. It would run on Android 4.0 or later (we can expect Jelly Bean) and would come with a 1MP front-facing camera and a 8MP rear camera. It would be 8.8mm-thick, 42% thinner than the Tablet S. The Paper Writer V-N500-WJ and Paper Writer V-N500-J come with a stylus and have handwriting recognition capabilities which also let it convert handwritten text to digital.

The Incredible S was launched in India in March 2011 with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and it got the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update in May 2011. Images of 10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook has surfaced in a Vietnamese website. The BlackBerry roadmap that leaked earlier this month mentioned a 10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook scheduled for Q3 2013.
