Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 and Galaxy Tab 730 launched at Rs.36200 and Rs.33900


We had told you that Samsung is launching the Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 in India today and the company has launched both the Tab 750 10.1 inch android tablet and the 8.9 inch Galaxy Tab 730. We are wondering why Samsung renamed the 10.1 and 8.9 tablets this way specifically for India.The pricing for the Galaxy Tabs are revealed too. The Galaxy Tab 750 will cost Rs.36200 and will be available by end of August. The Galaxy Tab 730 will cost Rs.33900 and will be available  by mid-September.

Interestingly only 3G versions of these tablets are being launched. The Apple iPad 2 3G version starts at Rs.36900.

Samsung has no plans to launch the cheaper WiFi version of the Tablet in India.

The company has managed to rope in Bollywood Actress Lara Dutta as the host for the launch event.

The GALAXY Tab 750 and 730 are the thinnest mobile tablets available weighing 565 grams and 465 grams respectively. Combining the GALAXY Tabs’ ultra-thin form factor with a lightweight design ensures outstanding mobility of these two products and comfort in the user’s hands.

Impressive Speed, Power & Battery Life
The new GALAXY Tabs will support 3G HSPA+ network speeds of up to 21Mbps as well as Bluetooth® 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity to deliver rapid mobile download speeds and reduce data transfer times. Also, the GALAXY Tab 750 and 730 include a 1GHz dual core application processor for a powerful multimedia and web browsing experience. The GALAXY Tab 750 and 730 are pre-loaded with Readers Hub giving consumers instant access to more than 2.2 million books, 2,000 newspaper (49 languages) and 2,300 magazines (22 languages). It also comes pre-loaded with My Reader that gives Indian consumers access to 17 Indian newspapers, 17 Indian Magazines and 30,000 Indian language books. Furthermore, the Mobile TV application on the Samsung tablets gives consumers access to 55 Indian television channels. The devices are also designed with Samsung’s Social Hub, which aggregates email, instant messaging, contacts, calendar and social network connections into a single interface.

The GALAXY Tab 750 and 730 feature a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, providing smooth transition and seamless 1080p HD video and flash playback for a rich entertainment experience.
