A prototype of the rumored HTC Holiday has shown up on Craigslist. The phone running on Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 has been seen with a 1.2Ghz Dual Core CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. A forum goer over at XDA spotted the device , got hold of it and shared the images on the forum. The 4.5″ screen on the HTC Holiday has a qHD (960 x 540) resolution.

The Mobile Number Portability (MNP) was launched across India on 20th January this year. According to COAI report published this March, Vodafone was on top spot in the MNP, followed by Idea Cellular. Now, Idea overtook Vodafone with the net addition of 800 thousand subscribers, while Vodafone moved to the second place with the net addition of 700 thousand. The company had a big advert today in a leading newspaper Times of India pictured above which pokes fun at the iPhone and at the same time conveys the message to the prospective buyer. Ice Cream Sandwich was officially announced back at Google I/O which is actually an upcoming version of Google Android OS. Google is actually making a one OS for all their Android devices because at the moment Android tablets runs on Honeycomb (few of them on Gingerbread) and all new smartphones are running on Gingerbread and few of them are Froyo powered. On the announcement, Google told us that it will be out later this year and we also heard recently that it will be out in October.
