Micromax partners with Aircel and MediaTek for bundled offers on smartphones and tablets

Micromax has partnered with Aircel and MediaTek to offer data and other benefits with Micromax devices including smartphones and tablets powered by MediaTek chips, Micromax dongle and data-enabled feature phones. These offers would be initially available across four Micromax devices – MMX 377G data card, Funbook Mini 410i tablet, A090 and X070 smartphones. These include data benefits for all these devices, cheaper local and STD call rates and WAP content worth Rs. 10,000 with these phones and the tablet. The offers are almost equivalent to cost of these devices, says Micromax.

Micromax Dongle – MMX 377G (Benefits for 6 months)

  • Aircel customers can get exciting data benefits for 6 months at Rs. 141
  • For the first 3 months, customers will get 2GB/month data
  • For the next 3 months – customers will get double data value for every recharge

Smartphones (A090 and X070) and Tablet (Funbook Mini 410i) (Benefits for 3 months)

  • 1GB data per month
  • 1.2P/2 sec Local Calling
  • 1.2P/ sec STD Calling
  • WAP content worth Rs. 10,000
  • Popkorn TV App Free

Data Enabled Feature Phones (Benefits for 3 months)

  • 500MB data per month
  • 1.2P/2 sec Local Calling
  • Local. 1.2P/sec STD Calling
  • WAP content worth Rs. 10,000

Aircel had already partnered with Micromax last year for bundled offers with Micromax smartphones and tablets. “We are delighted to continue our successful partnership with Micromax to offer exciting bundled benefits of their newly launched smart devices.” said Anupam Vasudev, Chief Marketing Officer, Aircel.

The data card is already available in the market, priced at Rs. 1699. The Funbook Mini 410i tablet, A090 and X070 smartphones would be available from April 2014 across India.
