Panasonic has launched P55, the company’s latest smartphone in P Series. It has a 5.5-inch HD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a  8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support and has unique features such as Pop-i Player, Music Café and Gesture Play. Amazon Prime offers unlimited cloud photo storage with Prime Photos

Amazon is offering its Prime customers with unlimited cloud photo storage under a new service called Prime Photos. Prime Photos accepts uploads from iOS and Android devices, Fire tablets and Fire phones, as well as Mac and Windows computers.

Vivo X5Max L with 4.75mm thickness gets certified in China

Last week Oppo introduced the Oppo R5 smartphone with 4.85mm slim body, thinner than the 5.1mm Gionee Elife S5.1. Now the Vivo X5Max L smartphone with just 4.75mm thickness has been certified on China’s TENAA certification website. The Vivo X5Max L  has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). NVIDIA to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Shield Tablet this November

Now it has announced that the update would be available as early as this November, so we can expect the roll out to begin in the next few weeks. Google has released Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images for the Nexus 9 tablet and the Nexus Player Android streaming device. The Android 5.0 binaries are available for the Nexus Player, but it is yet to release binaries for the Nexus 9 tablet  included in the factory images itself. EE says UK national roaming is a ‘flawed concept’

Nexus 6 UK launch on December 1, pre-orders from 18 November

For fans awaiting the launch of the Google Nexus 6 in the UK, the wait is almost over as UK-based online retailer Mobiles.co.uk has announced the handset will launch in the UK on 1 December. As reported by Pocket-Lint, the Nexus 6 will be available to pre-order from 18 November and the retailer says that the handset “should be” from £28 per month. Unfortunately it doesn’t reveal the SIM free price of the handset, rather focusing on the details of the plan which uses the O2 network and offers unlimited minutes, texts and 1GB data each month. Former Phones 4U Directors face legal action over collapse

A leading American law firm has been asked to look into claims that Phones4u’s directors and mobile network partners were responsible for the company’s collapse into administration. Sky News has learnt that Quinn Emanual Urquhart and Sullivan has been appointed by the chain’s administrators, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), to look into the action of the directors before the demise. This could lead to legal action should the directors be judged to have breached their fiduciary duties as company directors.
