Haier India launches New Gravity AI Series Air Conditioners

Haier Appliances India has introduced its Gravity AI Series Air Conditioners at the ‘AI for Air’ event held at the company’s Greater Noida facility. The range is powered by the AI-AtmoX platform and is built around three pillars: AI for savings through AI-AtmoX Power Manager, AI for comfort via AI-AtmoX Neuro, and AI for service with AI-AtmoX Auto Clean.

The series includes AI Climate Control 2.0, Dynamic Environmental Adaptation, multi-level AI Eco modes, geofence-based pre-cooling, targeted airflow, and indoor and outdoor self-cleaning systems. Haier also becomes the first brand in India to offer automatic outdoor unit cleaning through reverse-airflow technology.

The indoor unit runs a frost-based self-cleaning cycle every 240 hours to maintain airflow and internal hygiene. The ACs further support real-time electricity tracking, behaviour-based climate adjustments, and airflow precision using AI cloud intelligence and installation data.

Key Features: Haier Gravity AI Series ACs
  • AI-AtmoX Power Manager: Tracks electricity use with graphical and calendar views, mode-wise insights, real-time cost display, monthly expense updates, and custom energy-saving targets.
  • AI Eco: Adjusts cooling across three levels based on temperature gaps—L1 ECO for above 3°C, L2 ECO for 1–3°C, and L3 ECO for below 1°C.
  • AI Climate Control 2.0: Optimises cooling by analysing preferred modes, usage duration, room temperature, outdoor heat, weather shifts, and real-time comfort patterns.
  • AI Pre-Cooling: Starts cooling automatically when the user enters a 100-meter geofence, removing the need for timers or manual scheduling.
  • AI Target Cooling: Uses AI cloud and installation data to direct airflow to specific zones for faster and focused cooling.
  • AI IDU Frost Self Clean: Runs a frost-based cleaning cycle every 240 hours to remove dust and impurities from the indoor unit.
  • AI ODU Cyclone Clean: Reverses the outdoor fan 15 seconds after shutdown to clear dust from condenser coils and maintain heat-exchange efficiency.
  • Supersonic Cooling: Provides cooling in 10 seconds, operating significantly faster than conventional air conditioners.

Outlook

Haier says that it has expanded its AC manufacturing ecosystem with Phase 2 of its Greater Noida facility and a new injection molding unit. The upcoming AC factory adds 2.5 million units of annual capacity, taking total production from 1.5 million to 4 million units by 2027. The company, which currently holds an 8% share of the Indian AC market, is targeting 17% by 2030. Haier says the expansion will strengthen localisation, component manufacturing, and supply-chain efficiency.

Pricing and Availability

The Haier Gravity AI Series ACs start at Rs. 49,990 and will be available across major online and offline retail channels in India.
