It powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz, similar to other A and E series smartphones. Acer One 10-inch Windows 8.1 2-in-1 launched in India for Rs. 19999
Acer has launched Acer One S1001, the company’s latest 2-in-1 hybrid device in India that can be used as a table or as a laptop with its latch-less keyboard dock that has a in-built 500GB HDD. It has a 10-inch HD display, is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. Acer has partnered with Amazon.in to sell it India. LG F60 Dual SIM LTE smartphone now available in India for Rs. 14200
The LG F60 (D392) LTE smartphone was unveiled back in October last year and appeared on the official LG India website later that month for Rs. 15,000 (MRP). Now Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the smartphone is available from retail stores in India for Rs. 14200. The F60 packs a 4.5-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). HTC One M8 gets Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India
HTC has finally started rolling out Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) update for the HTC One (M8) users in India. It started rolling out to the update for unlocked smartphones in several countries few weeks back. Recently HTC said the One M7 and One M8 will miss its 90 day Android Lollipop promise since their carrier versions of the One (M8) and One (M7) will not meet 90 day goal, which is February 1st. Motorola sold record 10 million smartphones in Q4 2014
Lenovo today reported $14.1 billion revenue for the financial year that ended December 31, 2014. Since Motorola Mobility is now a part of Lenovo, it announced that Motorola sold over 10 million smartphones in the quarter for the first time. This is a 118% increase compared to the same quarter the previous year. Motorola added US$1.9 billion to the total Mobile Business Group’s revenues that includes products from the Motorola investment, Lenovo-branded mobile phone business, Android tablets and TVs, said Lenovo.
