Uber seems to be patenting on a new technology that will use the AI system to detect any erratic behavior in riders. Furthermore, the AI can identify user’s drunken behavior to accommodate them before they get into the cab. Uber finally has a new CEO. The US based ride hailing service has picked Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Expedia, as its CEO. Khosrowshahi’s appointment comes after former CEO and co-founder Travis Kalanick was asked to resign by five major investors in June. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has entered into strategic alliances with Ola and Uber that will provide passengers the option to hire these cabs at select airports. Passengers will now be able to book both Ola and Uber cabs at five airports – Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar airports which are run AAI.
