Meru Cabs adds Google Now integration
Meru Cabs has introduced that it has added Google Now integration to its app. Google updated the Google Search app to support Google Now cards from third party apps recently. Meru Cabs becomes the first cab service in India to integrate with the Google app. The Google Now integration will send passengers reminders for cab pickups, alerting them in case they wish to avail of a cab depending on their location, as well as other such information through Now cards within the Google app for Android, says the company. HTC A55 with 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 20MP camera rumored for Feb 2015
HTC is working on a top-end smartphone in the Desire series codenamed A55, according to @upleaks. According to the website, the smartphone codenamed HTC Hima_Ace is cancelled and is replaced by the A55. It is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and will be powered by a MediaTek MT6795 64-bit Octa-Core SoC with built-in 4G LTE and not a Snapdragon SoC seen on latest top-end Desire series smartphones. It is also rumored to feature a 20-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 13-megapixel or a UltraPixel front-facing camera. Lenovo A6000 Benchmarks
Lenovo launched the A6000 smartphone with 4G support last month for Rs. 6,999. We brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.21GHz per core, slightly faster than 1.19 GHz in the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2, A series and E series smartphones. It has Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz. It has a 1GB RAM, 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Samsung Galaxy A5 Review
Samsung started changing its track from polycarbonate build, changed its usual design language and finally launched the Galaxy Alpha smartphone with metal chassis, but it still had a plastic back panel. It finally came up with the A series at the end of last year with all metal unibody design The Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 were launched in India last month. The Galaxy A5 is the top-end model in the A series that is currently available in India. Samsung even introduced the Galaxy A7 with a larger 1080p display, but it is not available in India yet.
