The BlackBerry Classic has already launched in the UK with Vodafone, Selfridges and BlackBerry Direct and now retailer Carphone Warehouse has announced it is stocking the handset from today. The retailer has the handset available on a range of contracts starting at just £26.50 per month and is also selling the handset for £329.99 SIM free. The Galaxy Note Edge will NOT go on sale in the UK on November 28 as originally planned with Samsung confirming the handset’s launch has been delayed until December 12. Alongside the delay in the launch, Samsung have pushed back the pre-order period and shortened it to a week meaning you won’t be able to order it from Samsung or Carphone Warehouse before December 5th. Carphone Warehouse, one of the largest retailers with over 1700 stores in Europe, is entering into a crucial partnership with Samsung, in which it will operate 60 new Samsung exclusive stores across Europe, as a “preferred partner”. This is also an interesting development for Samsung, as this deal will massively improve the retail foot print in all the Android-loving parts of Europe. These new 60 stores will be Samsung exclusive experiences, with Carphone Warehouse contributing its part with retail experience and run Samsung’s stores with what it calls “Carphone Warehouse’s assisted sales tool and connectivity platform”, all with Samsung tablets.
LG announced their first ever 3D device at MWC which is known LG Optimus 3D. It’s already available for pre-order on other retailers in UK but now Carphone Warehouse has officially announced that they will be the first one to launch this device in UK and they will start shipping this device on June 27th and it will hit stores on July 7th.
