Lava just launched the Play Ultra, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in the new Play series, after the launch of Blaze AMOLED 2. The phone has a 6.67″ FHD+ flat AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with MediaTek HyperEngine optimizes gaming sessions with up to 20% higher FPS, improved visuals, and better energy efficiency for long, uninterrupted play.
The phone has up to 8GB of with up to 8GB virtual RAM, complemented by 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, which is expandable up to 1TB, features a 64MP rear camera with Sony IMX682 sensor with OIS, and a 5MP macro lens.
There is Night Mode, AI enhancements, HDR, Portrait, Beauty, Panorama, Slow Motion, Document scanning, Time Lapse, Filters, Pro Mode, AR Sticker, QR Code scanning, Pro Video, Google Lens, Dual View Video, and Macro photography.
The phone runs Android 15 without any bloatware, and the company has confirmed 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates for the phone. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging and comes with a charger in the box.

The Lava Play Ultra comes in Arctic Frost and Arctic Slate colours and is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 16,499. It will be available from Amazon.in starting from August 25th.
Following brand’s consumer-first philosophy, Lava will be offering Free Service@Home for the Play Ultra, pan India alongside attending user concerns at retail outlets.
