Google has introduced two new features for Gmail. The new block feature lets you block specific email addresses and the unsubscribe option will enable you to opt out of eligible mailing lists directly from the Gmail app, which comes handy for unnecessary newsletters. Once you block someone, future emails from them will directly go to spam folder, skipping inbox, but you can unblock them anytime from the Settings. Google’s Clock app for Android gets gradually increasing volume, timer ringtone and more

Google published its Clock app for Android on Google Play Store back in June. Few hours back the app got updated to version 4.2 from version 4.0.2 that brings several new features and visual changes. Some of the visual changes that were spotted by Android police earlier this week, include accessibility of overflow menu button from all parts of the app, transparent navigation bar on compatible phones, smaller icons within the central floating action button and more. HTC has big things planned for the One A9 Hero – Multiple launch events across USA next month

As we mentioned in our previous post, HTC aren’t announcing the One A9 Hero on September 29th. Instead we are most likely to get an updated international variant of the One M9+ and a China only Butterfly 3 handset on that date. But not to despair as HTC have big things planned for the HTC One A9 Hero and they are reportedly holding multiple launch events across USA next month.

HTC set to release updated One M9+ and China only Butterfly 3 on September 29th

HTC had previously teased the announcement of two devices later this month on 29th. Many believed that they would be launching the HTC A9 Hero on that date and that the device would have two versions. However, a new leak confirms that HTC will be announcing an updated One M9+ and a Butterfly 3 at the event.

LG V10 appears online flaunting its secondary ticker display – Announcement scheduled for October 1st

LG is expected to introduce a new smartphone called the V10 on October 1st and the phone is said to pack a secondary ticker display above the primary display. Now, we have a photo of the actual device and it seems to have a secondary ticker display as previously rumoured.

Selfies are all the rage right now and Sony seems to understand that better than most other companies. The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is the successor to the Xperia C4 that came out earlier this year. Like the Xperia C4, the Xperia C5 Ultra is also a selfie-centric smartphone. While the Xperia C4 did have a pretty capable camera up front, the Xperia C5 Ultra makes it look like the Xperia C4 was a half-baked attempt at making a selfie smartphone due to its much higher end camera specifications.
