HTC has launched Desire 626 Dual SIM, a mid-range smartphone in the Desire series in India. Even though it has a 5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Desire 626 that was introduced last year, the dual-SIM variant that is launching in India is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 processor and has 2GB of RAM, instead of Snapdragon 410 SoC and 1GB of RAM. HTC has announced Desire 626 smartphone in Taiwan after it was leaked in press shots and got certified in TENNA recently. It has a 5-inch HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC and run on Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC Sense 6 UI on top. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a BSI sensor.

Press images and specifications of the HTC Desire 626 smartphone leaked few weeks back, now the smartphone has been certified in China on TENAA with model number D626w. According to the listing the smartphone has a 5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor but comes only with 1GB RAM and 8GB RAM, unlike 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage as rumored earlier. HTC is all set to launch Desire 626, a new smartphone in the Desire 600 series. Press images and complete specifications of the smartphone have been leaked by @upleaks. According to the leak, the smartphone would come with a 5-inch HD display and would run on Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC Sense UI on top. It would get Android 5.0 update later, says the leakster.
