LG today announced Tone Platinum (HBS-1100) Bluetooth Stereo headset ahead of next week’s MWC 2016. It has a sleek aluminum finish and ergonomic design. It has been developed in collaboration with Harman/Kardon, similar its Tone Infinim headset. “It has a Balanced Armature design that is usually reserved for high-end wired earphones and offers for minimize distortion,” said LG.

Immersion, a haptic feedback company has filed a lawsuit against Apple over infringement of three patents. The company which is developer and licensor of touch feedback technology, has accused Apple and carrier AT&T for infringing three of its patents in the latest iPhone models and Apple watches.

LG has announced X cam and X screen smartphones in the new X series, ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. The X cam sports 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel, dual rear cameras and promises one of the most advanced camera experience in a mass-tier smartphone, while the X screen features 1.76-inch ‘Always-on’ second screen, in addition to 4.93-inch HD In-cell Touch display. We unboxed the smartphone recently, here we have the battery life test results from the smartphone. It packs a 3430mAh built-in battery, slightly bigger than the Xperia Z5 Dual’s 2900mAh battery, has Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support and comes bundled with Quick Charger. LG H840, an upcoming smartphone has surfaced on GFXBench, which is rumored to be a lite version of the LG G5. According to the benchmark listing it will come with a 5.3-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD display and will be powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon processor with Adreno 510 GPU, so this will likely be the Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53). Back in 2014 HTC confirmed that it is working on a smartwatch and said that it will be announced in early 2015, even some reports said that the smartwatch will be unveiled at the MWC 2015, but it didn’t happen. Couple of months back @evleaks reported that the HTC One smartwatch will be introduced in February 2016, now the leakster is saying that the smartwatch will be introduced before the end of April. Earlier this month 9to5Mac reported that Apple will introduce iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3 at an event on March 15th. Today it is reporting that it will start selling both these devices on March 18th, the same week after it launches. After 12 years, Google has decided to shut down its photo sharing service Picasa and focus entirely on Google Photos. The desktop application will not be supported starting from March 15, 2016 and Picasa Web Albums, a companion service will be shut down on May 1, 2016.
