LINE to shut down Mix Radio

Mix Radio that was acquired by LINE messenger in 2014 from Microsoft is shutting down. The move comes from the company as the service is not turning out to be financially viable. Mix Radio was originally created by Nokia in 2007 and then owned by Microsoft.

LeEco Le Max goes on sale in India starting at Rs. 32999, 2.2 lakh Le 1s orders in 3 flash sales

LeEco (formerly known as Letv) has started selling its flagship Le Max smartphone in India, as it had promised at the launch event last month. It also announced that it received 2,20,000 sales orders for Le 1s smartphones and received 2,028,000 registrations in first three flash sales on Flipkart. It sold a new Silver colored version of the phone in today’s sale.

Sony just announced IMX318, a 22.5-megapixel 1/2.6 stacked CMOS Exmor RS image sensor with built-in high-speed hybrid autofocus for fast focus in just 0.03 seconds and built-in 3-axis electronic image stabilization technology for video. It has 1.0μm (micrometers) pixel size, after last year’s Samsung’s 16MP S5K3P3. Apple to roll out software update to fix 1970 date bug which is bricking the iPhone

Earlier this month Apple acknowledged the Error 53 bug that led to bricking of iPhones. Now, the company has officially acknowledged the existence of a recently-exposed date settings bug and has posted a new support document for the same on its website.

LG has an entire X series smartphone lineup planned for 2016

LG announced the X Cam and X Screen smartphones yesterday with dual cameras and dual screens respectively. The smartphones will be showcased at MWC 2016 before they go on sale in March. However, it seems that LG have many more devices coming up in the X series lineup in 2016.

Among the many rumors that have been circulating about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the most interesting is probably that Samsung will be bringing back waterproof abilities for the smartphones. While we didn’t have any concrete evidence regarding the same, a new video promoting “TheNextGalaxy” does provide some evidence to support the rumor.

Samsung reportedly working on Batman v Superman edition of the Galaxy S7 edge

It looks like similar to most of us out there, Samsung does have a thing for superheroes. Last year the company released the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man limited edition and now a new rumor is stating that it might launch a Batman v Superman edition of the Galaxy S7 edge in 2016.
