Huawei P10 Plus with 5.5-inch Quad HD curved screen, iris scanner and ring flash surfaces in renders

First render of the Huawei’s P10 smartphone surfaced last year. Now renders of the P10 Plus, the top-end version of the smartphone has surfaced in China. This reveals a 5.5-inch Quad HD curved glass screen and possibly a iris scanner along with ring flash on the back. The fingerprint sensor is present on the back, still there is a home button below the display.

Samsung Galaxy S8 might come in 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage variant

Apple reports record $78.4 billion revenue in FY Q1 2017, 78.3 million iPhones sold

Apple has reported all-time record quarterly revenue of $78.4 billion with a net profit of $17.89 billion in their earnings for the financial year Q1 2017 that ended December 31, 2016. Revenues were up 3.29% year-over-year driven by very strong product mix and the success of iPhone 7 Plus, but profit was down 2.77% YoY. Apple reported all-time record quarterly earnings per diluted share of $3.36.

Samsung MWC 2017 event scheduled for February 26, Galaxy Tab S3 expected

Samsung has finally sent out invites for its event at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona this month, which is scheduled for February 26th. Samsung already confirmed that the Galaxy S8 will not be introduced at the MWC and will debut at a separate event later, which is rumored to be set for March. The teaser in the invite shows a tablet’s home button which could be the rumored Galaxy Tab S3 that was expected to be introduced at the IFA last year. Telstra launches world’s first commercial Gigabit LTE Network in Sydney

Telstra, Ericsson, Qualcomm and NETGEAR has introduced the world’s first commercial Gigabit LTE network and device. Australian operator Telstra confirmed at the Gigabit LTE Experience event in Sydney that their Gigabit LTE service has launched in select state capital city CBDs, with more to follow. This was demoed in Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router (MR1100). Telstra was the first globally to launch 600Mbps download speeds back in September 2015. Nintendo records $569M profit, Super Mario Run brings more than $53M in revenue

Nintendo has announced quarterly profits in a year by delivering profit of 64.7 billion yen ($569 million) for the period ending in December. It exceeded analysts’ average projection for 20.5 billion yen. Revenue for the quarter fell 21 percent to 174.3 billion yen.
