After Moto M, the Moto X Style has started receiving Android 7.0 (Nougat) update in India. It was launched in the country with Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) back in October 2015 and got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in November 2015, so this is the third major update for the phone.

Today Google in collaboration with Warner Bros, the Google Chrome VR team, Jam3, and Google Zoo released Dunkirk WebVR game for Chrome. You can play with a friend or with players around the world to experience the battle as either of two soldiers, both trying to survive. Xiaomi just sent out invites for the launch of its next Mi smartphone in India on July 18th. The invite says “Last year, we made ripples with this new category and now it is back. Join us in witnessing the return on ‘BIG’ at Xiaomi media briefing” that clearly hints at the launch of Mi Max 2, successor of last year’s Mi Max.

Uber, Amazon and Google are gearing up to launch UPI in India

Uber, Amazon and Google are working towards foraying into Unified Payment Interface (UPI), according to a latest report from ET. According to National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), the cab aggregator is expected to launch UPI via BHIM app integration by this month.

As the 84-day Dhan Dhana Dhan offer ends this month for those activated it back in April, it has launched new plans for the Prime members. It has also revised Rs. 309 Dhan Dhana Dhan pack that offered 84 days validity to 56 days validity and has launched the same 84-day validity plan for Rs. 399 with 1GB data per day. LG has officially announced the Q6 smartphone in the new Q series, as expected, but it has also announced the Q6α and Q6+ with different RAM and storage configurations. All these have a 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezels, but this is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 instead of Snapdragon 821 on the G6 and also doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor.
