After Moto M, the Moto X Style has started receiving Android 7.0 (Nougat) update in India. It was launched in the country with Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) back in October 2015 and got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in November 2015, so this is the third major update for the phone.

Xiaomi just sent out invites for the launch of its next Mi smartphone in India on July 18th. The invite says “Last year, we made ripples with this new category and now it is back. Join us in witnessing the return on ‘BIG’ at Xiaomi media briefing” that clearly hints at the launch of Mi Max 2, successor of last year’s Mi Max.
Uber, Amazon and Google are working towards foraying into Unified Payment Interface (UPI), according to a latest report from ET. According to National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), the cab aggregator is expected to launch UPI via BHIM app integration by this month.

LG has officially announced the Q6 smartphone in the new Q series, as expected, but it has also announced the Q6α and Q6+ with different RAM and storage configurations. Indian government has finally approved Amazon India’s proposed $500 million investment in food retail. The news comes a month after Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal stated that the government will soon clear the investment.
