Google introduced the Pixel 2 smartphone last month. It went on pre-order in India a couple of weeks back and went on sale in the country from November 1st. We unboxed the phone recently, check out the video below.

The Google Pixel 2 comes with a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with 4GB of RAM. It runs on the latest Android 8.0 (Oreo) with support for Google Assistant that can be triggered when you squeeze the sides of the phone. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and has dual front firing speakers.

It has a 12.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) + Electronic Image Stabilization, laser + dual pixel phase detection, 1.4μm pixel size and f/1.8 aperture. It lets you take portrait shots with background blurs, from both the front and back camera and has new motion photos feature that captures a few seconds of video around the shot.

It has a  fingerprint sensor on the back and comes with Aluminum and glass body with hybrid coating and comes with IP67 ratings for water resistance that protects the phone from spills and splashes. It comes with a 2,700mAh battery with support for fast charging.

 

The Google Pixel 2 is priced at Rs.61,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 70,000 for the 128GB version and is available exclusively from Flipkart online as well as offline stores.
