Alcatel has announced A7, A7 Plus in the ‘A series’ and Idol 5 smartphone in the ‘Idol series’ at the IFA 2017. The A7 XL has 12-megapixel rear camera with secondary 2-megapixel camera to capture depth information and has a 6-inch 1080p screen. Both the A7 and and A7 XL have a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Idol 5 is a cheaper version of the Idol 5S that was introduced in the U.S. back in June.
All the phones have a fingerprint sensor on the back, while the A7 XL and Idol 5 have a unibody metal design.
