LG unveiled Q8, a smaller version of the V20 smartphone last month in Italy. Today the company launched the phone in Korea and revealed the price of the phone. It has a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen along with a 2.1 (160 x 1040 pixels) second screen. It has a 16MP rear camera with 78-degree lens along with a secondary 8MP secondary camera with 135-degree wide-angle lens.
Reliance Jio unveiled its JioPhone at the 40th AGM last month, and the company said that pre-booking for the phone will start on August 24th. As promised today the company has announced that the phone will be available for pre-booking through MyJio app and jio.com online as well as Jio retailers and multi-brand device retailers including the Reliance Digital stores network offline at 5:30PM tomorrow.

YU launched YUREKA BLACK smartphone back in June running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). This week it has started rolling out Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) update for the phone, as it had promised at the launch. Samsung GearFit2 Pro, successor of last year’s Gear Fit 2 yesterday appeared on Samsung Spain and Malaysia sites briefly before it was pulled. It has model number SM-R365 and comes with similar 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED screen and runs Tizen OS, but this comes with a new watch-style clasp.

Reliance Jio unveiled JioPhone, the company’s first VoLTE feature phone last month. It will start pre-bookings for the phone from 5:30PM today. At the launch it revealed some of the specifications such as 2.4-inch QVGA screen,microSD slot, torch light, FM Radio, support for 22 major Indian languages and voice commands to call someone, reject a call, browse internet, open apps and more. It already confirmed NFC support, and said that tap-and-pay payments through UPI, credit and debit cards will be enabled through software update.
