We have Apple’s iMac Pro launching before the year-end, though the HomePod is delayed. Thanks to developers Johnathan Levin and Steve Troughton-Smith, details regarding the iMac Pro has emerged. According to the information available via the BridgeOS 2.0 software package from Apple, it appears that iMac Pro will be powered by the A10 Fusion ARM coprocessor. OnePlus released Android 8.0 Oreo update in open beta last month for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. Today it has finally started rolling out Android Oreo update for the smartphones for all in the form of OxygenOS 5.0 update.  This brings several new features including new parallel apps feature that lets you run a parallel version of the same app using a separate account, Picture in Picture, New Quick Settings design and more. Micromax Bharat 1 Review

Micromax launched the Bharat-1, the company’s first 4G VoLTE feature phone to take on Reliance Jio’s JioPhone. Last week KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that  Apple will be launching a 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch models with OLED displays and a lower-priced 6.1-inch model with an LCD display in 2018. Now he has said that the iPhone models will come with a faster Intel XMM 7560 modem and Qualcomm SDX 20 LTE Cat. 18 Modem with support for 4×4 MIMO technology, compared to 2×2 MIMO in this year’s iPhone models that use Intel XMM 7480 modem and Qualcomm MDM9655 Snapdragon X16 LTE Cat. 16 Modem. Intel introduces XMM 8000 5G modem series, XMM 7660 Gigabit LTE modem

Intel has announced new 5G new radio (5G NR) multi-mode commercial modems along with Intel XMM 7660 modem. It has also announced that it has successfully completed a full end-to-end 5G call based on its early 5G silicon, the Intel 5G Modem and also said that the XMM 7560 modem that was unveiled at MWC earlier this year has achieved gigabit-class speeds. Apple HomePod release pushed to early 2018

Apple introduced its first Siri-powered smart speaker HomePod at WWDC 2017 back in June for $349. At that time the company said that it will ship the device starting in December in Australia, the UK and the US. Now the company has released a statement saying that it will be available only in early 2018 saying that it need “a little more time” before the HomePod is ready, but it did not provide any reason for the delay. In late 2017, when most of the OEMs are releasing schedule for the Oreo update, a  lot of budget phones that are launched still run on Android Marshmallow. Xiaomi Redmi 4A was launched back in March 2017 with MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), but Xiaomi didn’t announce anything regarding the Android update for the device till date. Also, Redmi 4A was amongst the few devices which didn’t receive MIUI 9 Global Beta update until this Friday. Yesterday, Xiaomi rolled out MIUI Global Beta 7.11.16 for Redmi 4A, and surprisingly this new update is based on Android Nougat 7.1.2. Airtel partnered with Karbonn Mobiles last month to launch Karbonn A40 Indian, 4G VoLTE phone at an effective price of Rs. 1399. Later it launched the  Celkon Smart 4G at an effective price of Rs. 1349. Now it has launched two more Karbonn 4G VoLTE smartphones – Karbonn A1 Indian with support for 22 Indian languages and A41 Power with a 2300mAh battery

Twitter is testing tweetstorm feature on Android and iOS

Twitter has started testing tweetstorm feature on its Android app. The feature was first discovered back in September, but it was hidden. Now the feature has started showing up for some users who are using Alpha version of the app. Twitter has confirmed that it has been testing the feature in alpha and beta programs on iOS and Android for select users. The new features will make it easier to queue several tweets otherwise known as”tweetstorm” and pushed them together, without having to type and send them individually.
