Google Project Zero reveals “high severity” flaw in the macOS kernel which grants access to attackers

Google’s Project Zero has reported and publicly disclosed a “high severity” flaw in the macOS kernel which can grant an attacker access to a users computer without their knowledge. Security researchers discovered that if a modification is made to a user-owned mounted filesystem image, the virtual management system isn’t notified of those changes. This lets attacker access to perform malicious actions on that mounted filesystem without the end user ever knowing about it. Samsung Galaxy A60 with 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, up to 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor, 4500mAh battery surfaces

Samsung introduced the Galaxy A50 recently, and it was also launched in India at a competitive price tag a few days back. Now the company is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy A60, and the specifications of the phone has surfaced online. This reveals a slightly later 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 675 SoC instead of Exynos 9610 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM and an improved 32-megapixel camera while retaining the 5-megapixel depth sensor for Live Focus and an 8-megapixel Ultra Wide lens.

Google rolls out March 2019 Android security update, Improves camera, storage performance and more for Pixel 3 series

Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The update for this month also includes several functional improvements for Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL that includes faster camera startup and responsiveness, storage performance improvements, Bluetooth reliability, playback improvements for encrypted media on some apps.

Vivo V15 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 32MP pop-up front camera, triple rear cameras announced

After the V15 Pro last month, Vivo has introduced the V15 smartphone in Thailand. It has a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with 90.95% screen-to-body ratio instead of Super AMOLED display on the V15 Pro, and is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 675. It retains the same 32-megapixel pop-up front camera, but this features a 12-megapixel rear camera with  photosensitive units, instead of quad units. Other 5-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and an 8-megapixel camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens are retained.

Huawei has introduced Y6 2019, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Y series’. It has a  6.09-inch HD+ Dewdrop notch display with 87% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with 3GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the back with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera with front flash toning light assisted by screen light that promises accurate portrait even in low light conditions.
