Instagram has announced a new update to their app that brings a change to the Home screen, adding two new tabs – Reels and Shop. These changes come after Instagram decided to focus of them more when they noticed a surge in content made in Reels and increased traffic in Instagram Shop over the period of the pandemic.

This is said to be Redmi Note 9 4G, an entry-level phone, however some rumours say that this will launch as Redmi Note 10 4G. TENAA listing reveals a 6.53-inch screen, 6000mAh battery and the dimensions of the phone. 3C certification revealed 22.5W fast charging support for the phone. Apple has begun the global rollout of one of their biggest MacOS updates in recent times, called MacOS Big Sur, just like it announced two days ago. This major update brings the version number to 11.0.1, with significant design refreshes throughout the OS, along with new features and optimizations for Apple’s newest M1 chip.

Lately Facebook has been focusing on bring some version of sending temporary messages feature in their various instant messaging services. Just last week, they added a feature called Disappearing Messages to WhatsApp and now they have announced a Vanish Mode for the Facebook Messenger, which will also come to Instagram soon. A rumour back in August said that the company might end the Galaxy Note line up next year and bring S Pen features to the S21, especially the S21 Ultra. Besides smartwatches, they also make other wearables like TWS and headsets. Their top-of-the-line product in terms of activity trackers to date is TicWatch Pro.

Samsung launched the Galaxy M31s smartphone running One UI 2.1 in India back in July. Now it has released new One UI 2.5 update for the phone in India that brings several features including Alt Z Life that adds Quick Switch and Secure Folder that are coming to M series for the first time. The Quick Switch lets users easily switch between normal and private mode instances of the same app with the simple double click of the power button. Dyson, makers of many popular consumer electronics, has announced the launch of their latest air purifier and heater in India called the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Cryptomic. It features vacuum-sealed H-13 Glass HEPA and Activated Carbon filters, and is capable of purifying air of PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, NO2 pollutants.
Samsung just announced its latest Exynos 1080 SoC, successor of Exynos 980 that was introduced last year, as it had promised. This uses 5nm EUV (extreme ultra violet) lithography processing technology for better power efficiency. This has tri-cluster CPU structure that consists of Arm Cortex-A78 core optimized for peak performance, three Cortex-A78 cores for balanced processing, and four Cortex-A55 cores for efficiency. It promises 50% improved single-core performance and 2x improvements in multi-core performance. The powerful neural processing unit (NPU) and digital signal processor (DSP) are capable of running up to 5.7 trillion operations per second.
