Recently, PUBG Corporation terminated all service and access to users in India to PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite after the Indian Government announced a ban. Following that, now PUBG Corporation has announced that it is preparing to launch PUBG MOBILE INDIA, a new game created specifically for the Indian market.
With PUBG Mobile India, various aspects of the game will be customised for Indian gamers and the in-game content will be improved and tailored to reflect local needs, according to the company. The game will now be set in a virtual simulation training ground and new characters in the game will automatically start clothed. This time around, there will be restrictions on the game time to promote healthy gameplay habits for younger players.
Further, the company said that it will conduct regular audits and verifications on the storage systems holding personally identifiable information of PUBG Mobile India users. It has also announced plans to create an Indian subsidiary to enhance communications and services with players where it will hire over 100 employees specializing in business, esports, and game development.
Apart from this, PUBG Corporation with its parent company KRAFTON, Inc of South Korea plans to make investments worth US$100 million in India to cultivate the local video game, entertainment, esports, and IT industries.
There is no information on the release date of PUBG Mobile India yet.
