Sony IMX675 sensor with dual speed streaming for security cameras announced

Sony Semiconductor Solutions today announced the Sony IMX675, a 1/3-type CMOS image sensor for security cameras, will be available soon. This is a first in the business. The company’s new sensor uses Dual Speed Streaming technology to output all the pixels in a captured image at up to 40 frames per second, while also outputting certain user-set regions of interest at high speed. Netflix is testing ‘Add a Home’ password sharing plans

Netflix has been dealing with the issue of households sharing account passwords for a long time. In an effort to address this, Netflix tried a feature called “add an extra member” in a few nations in March. To add sub-accounts for persons they don’t live with, members must pay an additional fee. The service is currently experimenting with a different approach to “Add a Home” in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Samsung announces first 24Gbps GDDR6 DRAM

Samsung Electronics, a well-known memory manufacturer, has announced Graphics Double Data Rate 6 (GDDR6) DRAM, the industry’s first GDDR6 to deliver speeds of up to 24Gbps. This graphics DRAM will be 30 percent faster than the previous 18Gbps product, thanks to Samsung’s innovative circuit design and highly advanced insulating material.
