Moto Z Play Android 7.0 Nougat update India

Moto has started rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Moto Z Play smartphone in India finally. This brings a new Moto action that lets you swipe to shrink the screen, and a new setting to disable and enable locking the screen when the screen is on and you touch the fingerprint sensor. To access this setting, you need to go to Security, then tap on the screen lock gear icon. Other features include, Moto Display landscape mode, new Hasselblad TrueZoom mode settings and improvements. Lenovo launched K6 Note smartphone in India back in December starting at Rs. 13999. The successor of Vibe K5 Note comes with a better camera and a larger battery. Even though this has a familiar design and similar specifications as the predecessor, there are a lot of components that go into making the device what that might not be revealed on a regular specs sheet. Xiaomi today announced Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Special Edition in China. It has the same specifications as the Redmi Note 4 smartphone that was launched in India recently, but comes in two new colors and comes in a unique package that has a Limited edition Mi Power bank and soft protective case printed with Hatsune Miku and the the phone has an unique code along with Hatsune Miku’s signature at the back.

Now a new live image of the smartphone has surfaced in Brazil that reveals most of the specificaitons, including a 5.2-inch 1080p screen for the Moto G5 Plus compared to 5.5-inch 1080p in the current Moto G4 Plus smartphone. YouTube expands mobile live streaming, debuts Super Chat live stream monetization

YouTube today opened mobile live streaming all content creators with more than 10,000 subscribers. It will soon be available the rest of soon said the company. YouTube mobile live streaming was announced last June at Vidcon event in California to take on FaceBook Live and Periscope. You need to just tap the capture button within the YouTube mobile app, select a thumbnail, pick a title and go live. MediaTek Helio P25 Octa-Core 16nm processor for ultra-thin smartphones with dual cameras announced

MediaTek just announced Helio P25, its latest SoC in the Helio P series. It was unveiled in China back in September last year, is based on 16nm TSMC process technology and has MediaTek Imagiq Image Signal Processor (ISP) technology same has P20, but this has up to 13MP dual camera support optimized for Color + Mono de-noise as well as real-time shallow DoF bokeh and Video HDR with full preview. Meizu schedules an event on February 15, m5s with fast charging, metal body expected

Meizu today sent out invites for a new smartphone launch event in China on February 15th, a day after Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4X event. Meizu is expected to introduce m5s, successor to last year’s m3s that got certified by TENAA back in December. According to the teaser the smartphone will come with improved fast charging, however the design is expected to be same as m3s. Google rolls out February Android security update for Pixel and Nexus devices

Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel and Nexus devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The latest update this month fixes several critical issues, including issues in Remote code execution vulnerability in Surfaceflinger and Mediaserver and High level issues in Remote code execution vulnerability in libgdx, libstagefright and more. Asus just launched ZenFone 3s Max (ZC521TL), the company’s latest smartphone and the successor of last year’s ZenFone 3 Max in India with a 5000mAh battery that promises up to 3 days of battery life with normal use. It packs a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with 72% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
