HUAWEI Band 6 Pro with 1.47-inch AMOLED screen, body temperature monitoring and HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG announced

Along with the P50 series, HUAWEI also introduced the HUAWEI Band 6 Pro, successor to HUAWEI Band 6 and the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG, an upgrade to the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro. The Band 6 Pro adds a built-in temperature detection sensor to detect skin temperature and estimated body temperature that shows changes in body temperature, and provides high and low temperature reminders. It has 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring and 96 workout modes, but it still doesn’t have GPS support. Motorola edge 20 and edge 20 Pro with 6.7-inch 144Hz FHD+ OLED display, 108MP triple rear cameras and edge 20 Lite announced

Motorola has announced edge 20 pro, edge 20 and edge 20 lite smartphones in the edge 20 series. All these pack a 6.7″ OLED, 10-bit colour screen with DCI-P3 colour space and HDR10+ with edge 20 and 20 pro featuring 144Hz refresh rate and the lite model has a 90Hz refresh rate. HUAWEI P50 Pro with 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED curved display, True-Form Dual-Matrix Camera and HUAWEI P50 announced

HUAWEI has announced its flagship P50 and P50 Pro smartphones in an online event, as it had promised. The P50 has a flat 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and the Pro model has a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Both these have 1.07 billion color display with support 1,440Hz PWM dimming, a punch-hole screen with a 13MP front camera, and the Pro model has a 100-degree field of view and autofocus. Sony PlayStation 5 sales cross 10 million, becomes the fastest-selling PlayStation

Sony Corporation today announced that it has sold 10 million PlayStation 5 consoles globally as of July 18th, 2021, making it the fastest-selling PlayStation console in the history. The company earlier reported 4.5 million sales till December, and it reached 7.8 million in March 2021. The company took just 8 months to achieve this feat. It took 6 years for PS4 to reach 100 million. Looks at the sales of PS5, it should take half the time to reach the milestone. Samsung’s Q2 2021 profits up 40.3% YoY, mobile profits up 66.1% YoY

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q2 2021 that ended June 3, 2021 in which the company has made an operating profit of 12.57 trillion won, up 40.3% YoY. This is due to solid growth in Semiconductor business. It posted 63.67 trillion won consolidated revenue, up 20.2% YoY. Airtel pre-paid recharge packs now start at Rs. 79, entry-level Rs. 49 pack discontinued

Airtel has  discontinued its Rs 49 entry level Prepaid recharge. The company said that its prepaid packs will now start from the Rs 79 Smart Recharge, and it says that offer up to four times more outgoing minutes of usage to customers along with double data. OnePlus not expected to launch OnePlus 9T this year

OnePlus 8T was launched in September last year as a successor of the OnePlus 8 with monitor upgrades, but we didn’t see the OnePlus 8T Pro version. A sketchy rumour from earlier this month said that OnePlus 9T will launch in Q3 2021 with a 108MP rear camera tuned by Hasselblad and a quad camera setup, same as the OnePlus 9 series.
