HUAWEI P50 Pro with 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED curved display, True-Form Dual-Matrix Camera and HUAWEI P50 announced

HUAWEI has announced its flagship P50 and P50 Pro smartphones in an online event, as it had promised. The P50 has a flat 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and the Pro model has a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Both these have 1.07 billion color display with support 1,440Hz PWM dimming, a punch-hole screen with a 13MP front camera, and the Pro model has a 100-degree field of view and autofocus. HUAWEI P50 series with Leica rear cameras to be announced on July 29

After teasers last month, HUAWEI today scheduled an event in China on July 29th to introduce its flagship P50 series. The company’s CEO Richard Yu said “The road forward has no end, this time we surpass ourselves in the field of imaging again” He added that this pioneer new mobile imaging technology in the industry. HUAWEI P50 series with Leica quad rear cameras teased officially, launch delayed

At the end of the HarmonyOS and product launch event, HUAWEI posted a teaser of its upcoming P50 Pro that shows two camera cutouts with triple cameras in the first one and a single camera in the second cut out which is said to be a variable aperture liquid lens that first made its debut in the Mi MIX Fold back in March. HUAWEI P50 series powered by Kirin 9000 reportedly on track for the first half of 2021

Amid a lot of chaos, Chinese smartphone player HUAWEI is planning to launch the next P-series smartphone, purportedly called P50, in the first half of 2021. As per the reports, HUAWEI is likely to use the Kirin 9000 SoC, which the company used for Mate 40 series.
