HONOR brand today announced the HONOR Play5 Vitality Edition, after the HONOR Play5, HONOR Play5T and HONOR Play5T Vitality Edition were announced back in May. The phone pack a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 94.4% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900U SoC with 8GB of RAM with 2GB of virtual RAM and packs a 64MP main camera, 2MP depth and a 16MP front camera. HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i with ANC, Bluetooth 5.2, up to 10h standalone playback launched in India for Rs. 7990

HUAWEI today launched the FreeBuds 4i, the company’s latest TWS earbuds in India, after teasing it recently. This comes as the successor to FreeBuds 3i which was launched in India last year. It has active noise cancellation (ANC), up to 10h standalone battery life and a new round case. The headset features 3D ergonomic design and ear canal close fit, lightweight body, reducing the burden to ears, and a more comfortable wearing experience. JioPhone Next will run Pragati OS based on Android

Reliance Jio announced the JioPhone Next, the company’s ultra-affordable Android smartphone in partnership with Google, back in June. It was supposed to be available in market from Ganesh Chaturthi, 10th September, but the launch got pushed to Diwali due to chip shortage. ASUS Android 12 roll out schedule for range of Zenfone and ROG Phone models announced

ASUS has confirmed the Android 12 roll out schedule for its Zenfone and ROG phone models, soon after Google rolled out Android 12 update for its Pixel devices. ASUS said that it has already recruited Zenfone 8 users for the Android 12 beta testing program, which will help identify and fix bugs based on real user experiences before the final software that will roll out in December. Last week Redmi confirmed that it will introduce the Redmi Watch 2, successor to the first Redmi Watch in China on October 28th along with the Redmi Note 11 Pro series. jd.com app reveals that the smartwatch will be priced at 399 yuan (US$ 62.5 / Rs. 4,686 approx.). Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Galaxy Tab S8 with 11-inch 120Hz display surface in renders

Specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series surfaced back in May, now the renders of the Tab S8 and Tab S8 Ultra have surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a tiny notch for dual front cameras and ultra slim bezels for the Tab S8 Ultra, dual rear cameras and a magnetic strip for the S Pen. The tablet is said to feature quad speakers, but there is no headphone jack. iQOO confirms Android 12 Beta roll out timeline for its smartphones in India

iQOO today confirmed the Android 12 Beta rollout timeline for its smartphones – iQOO 7, iQOO 7 Legend, iQOO Z3, iQOO Z5 and iQOO 3. Even though it rolls out for most smartphones in December 201, iQOO 3 users will have to wait till March, 2022 to get the update. The company said that the update will offer an enhanced smartphone experience in combination with Android 12 Beta. HUAWEI Nova 9 with 6.57-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 778G, 50MP quad rear cameras rolls out globally

After the announcement in China last month, HUAWEI has introduced the nova 9 smartphone for global markets, starting from Europe. It runs Android 11 with EMUI instead of Harmony OS 2 in China, but these don’t have Google Mobile Services like the HONOR 50 which was launched globally earlier this week. PUBG: NEW STATE for Android and iOS global launch set for November 11

KRAFTON, the South Korean game developer, has confirmed the launch of PUBG: NEW STATE battle royale mobile game for Android and iOS in over 200 countries on November 11. The game was introduced earlier this year with an Alpha Test that ended in August. The preregistrations for the game began at that time in several countries, and it opened in India last month. HONOR X30 Max with 7.09-inch FHD+ display, Dimensity 900, 5000mAh battery and HONOR X30i to be announced on October 28

HONOR today announced that it will introduce the HONOR X30 Max, successor to last year’s HONOR X10 Max. Based on earlier rumours the phone has the model number KKG-AN70 and is said to feature a similar 7.09-inch FHD+ LCD screen and a 5000mAh battery with 22.5W Fast charging as the predecessor, but this is expected to be powered by Dimensity 900 SoC, instead of Dimensity 800 and upgrade 64MP rear camera. OnePlus expands its offline presence – OnePlus TVs are now available from Croma

OnePlus today has announced its expansion of its offline presence by partnering with Croma to sell its OnePlus smart TVs, which are now available for purchase across select Croma stores and on croma.com. “The extended partnership with Croma will enable OnePlus to further expand its offline reach and make its smart TVs more accessible to customers,” said the company. Redmi Smart TV X 2022 55-inch and 65-inch 4K LED TVs with 120Hz MEMC, HDMI 2.1, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos announced

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand earlier this week introduced new Redmi Smart TV X 2022 series smart TVs as successor to last year’s models. These come with 55-inch and 65-inch 4K panels with ultra-narrow bezels offering 97% screen-to-body ratio, HDR support and 120Hz MEMC motion compensation technology. The TV has a professional display-level color accuracy of △E≈2, supports 1.07 billion colors, 94% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, AI-PQ, AI-AQ intelligent audio and picture adjustment, and also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Redmi Note 11 series with 120Hz AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, JBL dual speakers to be announced on October 28

October 22, 2021: Redmi today confirmed that the Note 11 series will feature an AMOLED screen with 1.75mm ultra-narrow side bezels and a 2.96mm small punch-hole, same as the Redmi Note 10 Pro that was launched in India last year. It will feature a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The Note 10 Pro has a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
