The long awaited successor to the HTC One X was finally launched in India earlier this month. Called the HTC Butterfly, the phone brings a gorgeous 5inch full HD display and top of the line specs. The phone runs on Qualcomm’s S4 Pro quad core processor and is paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of storage built in and you also get access to a microSD card slot. HTC Windows Phone 8S review

Microsoft and HTC have been closely related ever since the days of the first Windows Mobile devices so it was no surprise when HTC was amongst the first ones to launch Windows Phone 8 devices.

End of an era, Nokia 808 PureView to be the last Symbian phone

Nokia Q4 2012 results out $585 million profit, 4.4 million Lumia handsets sold

Nokia just announced its financial results for the 4th quarter of 2012. The Finnish smartphone manufacturer  has raked in profits equivalent to $585 million over the course of the last three months of 2012. The company has had losses of $3 billion over 2012.

Nokia Lumia PureView Windows Phone with 41MP camera rumored to debut at MWC 2013

Byond B63 with 4.5-inch qHD screen, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 9,999

Indian smartphone manufacturer, Byond, has today launched its latest Android powered smartphone. Called the Byond B63, the phone is powered by a 1.2Ghz dual core processor which we can assume to be a MediaTek chip like in other smartphones in this category. The phone runs Android 4.1.1 Jellybean, which means you get to enjoy Google Now and the benefits of Project Butter. There’s built in Dual SIM support as well which lets you keep two SIM cards in active standby.

Nokia 114 with dual SIM launched for Rs. 2,549

The Nokia 114 was launched in India today at a price point of Rs. 2,549. The handset is an addition to the company’s feature phone line up. The Nokia 114 is equipped with a long lasting battery which is rated for 10 hours of talk time and almost a month of standby time.

HTC M7 image surfaces, might be revealed at MWC

HTC is long expected to reveal its next generation flagship at MWC in February and now thanks to UnwiredView, we have our first glimpse of the handset. Obtained from a firmware image, we can see that the handset maybe equipped with an edge to edge display. The image has been extracted from a video explaining how to install the SIM card to first time owners.

Nokia sells 4.4 million Lumias in Q4, gives positive outlook

Nokia has published preliminary financial results for the period of Q4, 2012 and have declared them to be better than expected.

The Finnish smartphone manufacturer has estimated shipments of its range of Lumia smartphones to have crossed 4.4 million units. It also shipped 9.3 million units of its Asha range of feature phones.
