The LG Optimus G Pro‘s announcement dates back to the MWC 2013 which is nearly 5 months back. The supposed Note 2 competitor has been available in its home country – South Korea since the announcement, but left the rest of the market wondering if it will be available or not. LG announced that the G Pro will be available across various countries in the coming months. The G Pro was launched in India last month as a part of the Asian and North American market. LG announced last month they have sold over 1 million units of the Optimus G Pro in South Korea since its launch back on February 21st. LG has launched the Optimus G Pro (E988), the company’s flagship smartphone in India. The phone was expected to launch in India last month. It packs a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS curved glass display, powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm  Snapdragon 600 processor with 400 MHz Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Optimus 3.0 UI. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, 2.1 MP front-facing camera and packs a 3140 mAh battery. It has lot of camera features including Dual Recording, Virtual Reality (VR) Panorama Smart Video, Smart Camera, Pause and Resume Recording and lots more. LG Optimus G Pro sales surpass 1 million units in Korea

LG has announced that the sales (to supply channel) of their latest flagship, the Optimus G Pro has surpassed 1 million units in their home county Korea, in less than 4 months of launch. The LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled in February, that went on sale in Korea on February 21st. We reported last month that the Optimus G Pro would launch in India in June. Now, LG has officially announced that the phone would be released in Asian markets including India in June. The LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled in February and went on sale in Korea on February 21st. The Optimus G Pro (L-04E) went on sale in Japan last month. LG Optimus G Pro sales crossed 500 thousand units in Korea, in less than 40 days of launch. LG Optimus G Pro likely to launch in India by June

LG announced its competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note earlier this year in the form of the Optimus G Pro which is a large screen Android phone / Phablet and one of the first phones to be powered by the Snapdragon 600 processor. LG India has confirmed to FoneArena that it will soon launch the Optimus G Pro here in India most likely by June. LG announced the Optimus G Pro Value Pack upgrade last month. The update has started rolling out in Korea that would bring Smart Video feature recognizes the position of the viewer’s eyes and automatically plays or stops the video and the Smart Camera feature, an extension of the Smart Video, would let you capture photographs using both the front and back cameras for a picture-in-picture composition. LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) goes on sale in Japan

LG has announced that the LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) is now on sale in Japan from NTT Docomo. It was announced earlier this year as the part of NTT Docomo’s Spring lineup in the docomo NEXT series. It packs a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Japanese variant is smaller than the International version that was unveiled in February. LG has announced that the sales (to supply channel) of their latest flagship, the Optimus G Pro has surpassed 500 thousand units in their home county Korea, in less than 40 days of launch. The LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled in February, that went on sale in Korea on February 21st. LG announced last month that they have sold over 10 million LTE smartphones globally, since their first LTE smartphone that was launched in Korea back in October 2011. The Optimus LTE sold 5,000 units on the first day of the launch, LG has announced they sold 10,000 units of the Optimus G Pro on the launch day. LG has announced that the Optimus G Pro would get new features in a new Value Pack upgrade including Smart Video and Smart Camera features. Smart Video recognizes the position of the viewer’s eyes and automatically plays or stops the video when the viewer’s eyes are no longer focused on the smartphone display. LG unveiled the Optimus G Pro last month, that went on sale in Korea at the end of last month. LG unveiled the Optimus G Pro with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS curved glass display last week. The Optimus G Pro for the Japanese market has a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor. LG has announced that the Optimus G Pro for the Korean market would come with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm  Snapdragon 600 processor, making it the first smartphone to feature the new Qualcomm chip. LG Optimus G Pro with 5.5-inch 1080p curved glass display announced

LG has finally unveiled the Optimus G Pro that comes with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD curved glass display with a dynamic and streamlined glass border in the front panel that would offer 2.5 D effect. It also has a glass back with digital cube patterns, similar to the Optimus G. It also has minimal bezel on the sizes that would offer a better grip. The company released the Optimus G Pro for the Japanese market last month that has a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. NTT Docomo has announced the LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) in their Spring lineup that comes in the docomo NEXT series. The LG Optimus G Pro first showed up in a leaked slide last week. It packs a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).  It comes with a whopping 3,000 mAh battery.
