Airtel plans to inject Rs. 20,000 Crore into NBFC unit

Bharti Airtel has announced plans for its Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), Airtel Money Limited, aimed at expanding access to digital credit in India. The NBFC will be capitalised with ₹20,000 crore over the next few years, with 70% contributed by Airtel and the remaining 30% by the promoter group via Bharti Enterprises Limited. Gopal Vittal to replace Sanjay Kapoor as Bharti Airtel’s India CEO

On completion of a 15 year stint with Bharti Airtel, CEO Sanjay Kapoor has quite the company. He will continue in his current role as Bharti Airtel’s India CEO till 28th February. He will also be available to assist on key ongoing matters to easy out the transition process.
