Motorola is no longer producing the Motorola Droid?

The news comes from Droid-Life, when their readers told them that they tried to claim their Droid over at mobile insurance company Asurion, but they were told that Motorola has stopped the production of the Motorola Droid and is no longer available in stock, and instead of Motorola Droid, they will replace it with Motorola Devour, Droid Eris, or LG Ally. So people if your Droid is insured, then don’t sit on it because Asurion is not going to replace it with a new Motorola Droid (Droid Eris is not a bad choice).

If Motorola has stopped the production of Droid, then it means that the Droid 2 is in production, which is a successor to the Droid 1. Somehow, the discontinuing of Droid 1 is not bad, because Droid 2 is a new, fast, and a better version, and people like buying new and improve stuff instead of buying something old. But Droid don’t think we’ll forget you, because you are known as the one of the best Android devices ever made.

Samsung Intensity II hitting Verizon

A worker over at the Best Buy sent a image to BGR, you can check out the image above in which you can see the Samsung Intensity II in blue color, which is going to hit Verizon Wireless soon. It’s a dummy of the phone above, but it’s a cute little phone and a great phone for young boys and girls, because their favorite habit is text messaging, and this phone is very good for that purpose. Verizon confirms the Droid X display issue

Apple sold 9.41 million iPods , 8.4 milion iPhones , 3.27 million iPads in Q3

Another amazing quarter for Apple Inc thanks to great sales of the iPhone, iPad and Macs.The company reported a 78 percent increase in earnings . iPad sales have not had a negative impact on Mac or iPhone sales. Surprisingly iPod sales have decreased but iPod touch sales are up and Apple has close to USD 47 billion cash in the bank !

Droid 2 running Froyo

We saw a lot of shots of the upcoming Motorola Droid 2, which is going to hit Verizon, probably next month. Droid 2 is the successor to the old, but popular Motorola Droid, which is known as the one of the most sold Android devices ever.
