Lenovo Vibe X3, successor of last year’s Vibe X2 surfaced back in February earlier this year along with the Vibe P1, Vibe P1 Pro and Vibe S1. The Vibe P1 and S1 went official at the IFA last week, but Lenovo did not announce the Vibe X3. The smartphone was spotted on Geekbench last month that revealed a 21-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and more details. Now the smartphone has been certified on TENAA (Via) that reveals more specifications of the Vibe X3. YU YU5050, the company’s high-end smartphone that recently surfaced on Zauba and Geekbench revealed a 5.2-inch display, Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 SoC,  4GB RAM and Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Now it has surfaced on AnTuTu (Via) revealing a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display, a 21-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera and 32GB of internal storage. These listings reveals that the smartphone will pack a 5.2-inch display (1080p likely), Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 SoC and 4GB RAM. Huawei MateS with Force Touch display surfaces in press shots and live images ahead of IFA announcement

Huawei had been teasing its upcoming smartphone focusing on touch for IFA announcement. Today @evleaks has posted press shots of the MateS smartphone in three colors and a fingerprint reader on the back. This clearly shows the date as September 2nd, which is tomorrow.

Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy J1 ACE (J110H), its new budget smartphone in India soon, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The smartphone already surfaced on User Agent Profile that revealed a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, quad-core Marvell PXA1908 SoC and 4G LTE support. According to SammyHub, the Galaxy J1 ACE will feature a Super AMOLED display, which is rarely seen on budget smartphones. We had already seen several press renders and videos of the upcoming BlackBerry Venice smartphone, now live images have surfaced (via) showing the smartphone from different angles. It also shows the smartphone running on Android Lollipop, but this is still a prototype, and the final version will run on forked version of Lollipop with important BB10 features and its own apps to differentiate the phone from other Android devices.

Samsung Galaxy Grand On and Mega On specifications surface

Last week SamMobile reported that Samsung is planning introduce new Galaxy O series of smartphones. Now specifications of the Galaxy Grand On (SM-G550) and Galaxy Mega On (SM-G600), upcoming mid-range smartphones have surfaced, thanks to SamMobile again. According to the report, these smartphones will come with HD displays. The Galaxy Grand On will be powered by a quad-core Exynos 3475 processor, similar to rumored Galaxy J2 smartphone and the Galaxy Mega On will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC. Motorola DROID Maxx 2 and DROID Turbo 2 might be headed to Verizon soon

Apparently Motorola is planning to launch not one but two new handsets on Verizon this year. They are expected to be the DROID Maxx 2 and the DROID Turbo 2. The former is expected to be a mid-range device that is said to be a rebranded version of the Moto X Play.

Acer’s Predator 8 Gaming Tablet rumored to have entered production

Tablets are becoming increasingly similar to one another and it’s becoming hard to stand out from the crowd. However the Acer Predator 8, which is a gaming tablet announced during Computex in Taiwan earlier this year should have no such problem. The tablet seems to have a design that is inspired by the Alienware series of laptops and computers from Dell.

There was even a rumor that Xiaomi might release a Mi 4i variant with a Snapdragon 808 SoC, now the same Mi 4i variant codenamed Mi-4c has surfaced on AnTuTu benchmark.

Samsung is apparently working on an 18.4″ Android tablet

Samsung isn’t a new name when it comes to tablets and that also includes larger tablets that are bigger than some notebooks and laptops such as the Note Pro 12.2 and Tab Pro 12.2. But this new rumored device would make it a first even for Samsung as the source states that the company is working on a tablet powered by Android that has an 18.4″ display.
