Now, a fresh report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that the next generation iPhone will retain the Lightning port. Apple is most likely ditching the 3.5mm audio jack in favour of their own lightning port and the launch of several audio products with lightning ports at CES 2016 was just a confirmation of that. While that maybe disappointing to many, there is another rumour that will probably excite you. Apple is apparently planning to improve the quality of the speakers in the future iPhone lineup.
