It has been months since HTC had launched a mid-range or high-end smartphones. A report from last December said that it will launch new mid-tier to high-end models in 2019, after confirming that it is not shutting down its smartphone business. Now the company’s first smartphone for the year has surfaced in benchmarks. “HTC 2Q7A100” benchmark listing reveals a Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB of RAM and Android 9.0 (Pie).

Earlier this year a report said that Apple will launch three iPhones this year, including a high-end model with triple rear cameras. A new report from Mac Otakara says that the successor of the XS and XS Max will feature 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays, respectively and will pack triple rear cameras, citing supply chain sources from China.
Update — April 8, 2019: Google Play Developer Console device catalog has revealed that the Pixel 3a (Sargo) will come with a 2220×1080 pixels FHD+ 440 PPI display and Pixel 3a XL (Bonito) will come with a 2160 x 1080 pixels FHD+ 400 PPI display, which reveals display size of 5.6-inches and 6-inches, respectively as rumored earlier. After rumors, Meizu 16s has been certified by TENAA in China with the model number M971Q. This confirms a 6.2-inch display, 7.65mm slim frame and a 3540mAh battery. The images show full-screen display with minimal bezels, dual rear cameras with ring LED flash, which should include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor and the phone will likely come with an in-display fingerprint scanner similar to the predecessor.

This week a new ASUS phone with model number ASUS_I01WD surfaced on Geekbench revealing Snapdragon 855, 6GB of RAM and Android Pie, now the AnTuTu listing for the smartphone has also surfaced.

Specifications of Motorola One Vision, the company’s upcoming Android One smartphone surfaced recently, now a new render of the phone has surfaced showing off its in-screen camera, dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is expected to be introduced in China as P40.
It has been close to eight months since the Mi A2, Xiaomi’s second Android One smartphone was launched. Earlier this year a report from XDA said that the company is working on its successor code-named orchid_sprout. Now a new report says that the company is working on two Android One phones codenamed ‘bamboo_sprout’ and ‘cosmos_sprout’ along with another phone codenamed ‘pyxis’ which should be the Chinese version of one of these phones.
